Cures d’infermeria en la fototeràpia neonatal.

Resum. La fototeràpia segons indica la mateixa paraula és la teràpia per mitjà de la llum, i s’utilitza quan el nounat presenta icterícia no fisiològica o patològica. El nadó es posa sota una llum fluores-cent intensa, blava o blanca, amb la finalitat de disminuir la bilirubina en sang (hiperbilirubinèmia) mitjançant la foto-oxidació a nivell de la pell. L’objectiu d’aquest article és conèixer la fototeràpia i les cures d’infermeria que s’han de tenir en compte per evitar complicacions i assegurar correctament l’efectivitat de la teràpia.

Title: Nursing care in neonatal phototherapy

Summary: The phototherapy, like the same word expresses, is a therapy by the light and it´s used when a neonate suffers from pathological jaundice or non physiological. The neonate must be placed under the intensive fluorescent light, blue or white, in order to decrease the bilirubin´s levels on blood (hyperbilirubin) by using the photo-oxidation on the skin. The aim of this article is to know about the phototherapy and the medical cures that must be taken into account to avoid complications and to guarantee the effectiveness of the therapy, correctly.
