L’administració d’anestèsia en les puncions arterials: un repte en el servei d’urgències

Resum: A urgències els pacients que requereixen de la pràctica de punció arterial (PA), la gran ma-joria són crònics controlats a CCEE / hospitalitzats a pneumologia. Aquests utilitzen anestèsia local per protocol al fer la PA; per això, moltes vegades són els propis pacients els que ens demanen la utilització d’anestèsia local al realitzar la punció arterial a urgències. A urgències no s’han de realit-zar les tècniques amb rapidesa, i no sempre hi ha manca de temps per fer-les; per tant, plantegem que no són motius suficients per no establir la utilització d’anestèsia en les PA. S’ha de tenir tendència a millorar la qualitat assistencial i promoure al mateix temps el desenvolupament professional.

Title: The administration of anaesthesia in arterial punctures: a challenge in the emergency department

Summary: In emergency patients who require the practice of arterial puncture (AP), the majority are controlled chronic OP questionnaires to / a hospital ward. They use local anaesthesia protocol for the PA to do so, often are the patients whom we ask to use local anaesthesia when performing the punc-ture in urgency. In emergencies should not make the techniques quickly, and there is not always lack of time to make them, so they are not considered sufficient reason not to establish the use of anaesthe-sia in the PA. You must have a tendency to improve the quality of care and at the same time promote the professional development.
